Welcome Fall 2021 Interns

We are pleased to welcome three new and one returning intern this fall, all pursuing bachelors of math degrees at the University of Waterloo, with concentrations in applied math, statistics, computational mathematics, mathematical finance, optimization and combinatorics.

This is our ninth cohort of interns. We are proud to report that five previous Omnium interns (nearly 20%) were hired as full time data scientists. Learn more about Emily Carlson and Henry Grace who started this summer, as well as Lisa Nguyen, our first intern-to-full time hire who left last month to pursue a PhD in Applied Physics at University of Michigan. Other Omnium interns have moved onto coveted entry level roles at companies including Apple, Boston Consulting Group, Facebook and Shopify.
