From Movies to Tides to Polymers to CPG

Henry Grace joined Omnium as a Data Scientist in June after graduating from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor’s in Physics. Prior to his two internships at Omnium in Fall 2019 and Summer 2020, Henry worked in a wide range of industries including a 8-month stint in Suzhou, China as a chemical engineer; charting tides, currents and flood plains for the Canadian government; and the production of the TV show Once Upon A Time.

Henry was particularly impressed by how much he was learning at Omnium but also how much responsibility he had right away as an intern. He loved moving to downtown San Francisco and immediately felt at home, as interns are treated as equal members of the team.

Unlike other jobs, he never experienced “Sunday night dread” and looks forward to each day with his clients and coworkers. Henry has been studying and working remotely from his hometown Vancouver during the pandemic but will be moving back to Toronto this fall to join the team that serves the Frontier Co-Op, Musco and Organic Valley businesses.
